Tibet postcard

Legendary descent from Nashing to Nepalese border doesn’t disappoint, and no superlatives would suffice, so, instead, just details: 60 miles, 9,000 feet of elevation loss, two and a half hours. I’m riding it wide open with the trailer bouncing protests from behind, interrupted only by construction, but these patches — mud, ruts, axle deep puddles, work vehicles, worker camps — only made it better.  In a few years this will be a righteous, dangerous, exquisite downhill on a road bike.  And an irresistible climb.
